How to Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your SYNKROS account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to initiate account deletion:

Option 1: From the App

  1. Open the SYNKROS app or web dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone.
  4. Tap Delete My Account.
  5. Enter an optional reason and type DELETE to confirm.

Option 2: Via Email

Send an email to privacy@kelthos.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include your registered email address. We will process your request within 48 hours.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Immediate Deactivation

Your account is immediately deactivated. You will be logged out of all sessions (web and mobile). You will not be able to log in or access any data.

30-Day Grace Period

A 30-day grace period begins. During this time, you can contact us at privacy@kelthos.com to cancel the deletion and reactivate your account with all data intact.

Permanent Deletion

After 30 days, all your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems. This cannot be undone.

Data That Will Be Deleted

The following data will be permanently removed:

  • Account information: Email, display name, profile photo, authentication records.
  • Meeting recordings: All audio files stored in our cloud storage.
  • Transcripts: All text and speaker-labeled transcripts.
  • AI summaries: All generated summaries, action items, and key decisions.
  • Web sessions: All linked QR sessions and device information.
  • Shared links: All shared meeting links will stop working immediately.
  • Push notification tokens: FCM tokens and notification preferences.

Premium Subscriptions

If you have an active Premium subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. Before deleting your account, please cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store to avoid continued billing. To cancel:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Find SYNKROS and tap Cancel subscription.

Data We May Retain

Even after account deletion, we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Transaction records for tax and legal compliance.
  • Anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot be linked back to you.
  • Device fingerprint hashes (without personal data) to maintain account creation limits.
